The structure was built in 2007 and is wood framed. FWCSE’s experience allowed for an economical approach and a quick approval though the City of Los Angeles Building Department.

The buildings were originally constructed in the 1960’s and measured over 370,000 square feet together. The construction consisted of reinforced masonry walls with wood framed roof and floors.

A structural investigation of the nine buildings located near the intersection of 11th Street and Main Street in Los Angeles, California was performed by FWCSE. The construction of six of the buildings is unreinforced masonry (URM), two are reinforced concrete masonry (CMU), and one is reinforced concrete tilt-up. The buildings were built between 1908 and 1995.
