FWCSE designed and detailed the exterior and interior light gauge framing for the Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Center (MACC) Building as well as completing BIM services for both exterior and interior cold formed metal framing. The new medical center consists of four levels and is approximately 138,000-SF in size. It accommodates an ambulatory surgery center, as well as clinical and other support services, including, a pharmacy, walk-in clinic, outpatient imaging, outpatient surgery and various outpatient clinics that are currently operating in the existing MACC.

Kaiser San Diego | San Diego, CA

550,000 sq. & 7 levels & 321 beds. For the hospital we designed and detailed the exterior and interior light gauge framing. The hospital consists of seven levels plus a basement and is approximately 550,000 square feet in size. The exterior light gauge framing provided support for metal panel and stone finishes and required detailed integration with other trades. The interior framing package covered all wall, opening, ceiling, and backing framing required on the project. All drawings and calculations were reviewed and approved by OSHPD.

UHS Temecula Valley Hospital | Temecula, CA

This project consisted of a new 5-level hospital with approximately 178,000 sq. ft. and 140 beds. All of the rooms are private and the intensive care unit (ICU) has 20 beds. FWC provided structural engineering services for the interior non-load bearing cold-formed steel framing design and detailing for the entire structure. The light gauge drawing package was successfully reviewed and approved through OSHPD.

Stanford Hospital | Palo Alto, CA
This new hospital structure will add over 800,000 sq. ft. to the existing campus and will consist of 368 private patient rooms. The design includes a large glass dome over the central atrium. FWCSE services included Engineer of Record for the exterior and interior cold-formed steel. The plans were successfully reviewed and approved through OSHPD.

FWCSE provided exterior and interior cold-formed steel framing design and detailing for the hospital. The hospital consists of seven levels plus a basement and is approximately 490,000 square feet in size. The cold-formed steel drawing package consisted of 104 sheets of drawings that were reviewed and approved by OSHPD.

For the hospital FWCSE designed and detailed the exterior and interior light-gauge framing. The hospital consists of six levels plus a basement and is approximately 434,000 square feet in size. The exterior light gauge drawing package consisted of 80 sheets and the interior package consisted of 11 sheets. All drawings and calculations were reviewed and approved by OSHPD.

FWCSE designed the exterior cold-formed steel framing for three new buildings. The buildings consist of a hospital, a medical office building, and the energy center. The exterior designs were completed as part of a design-assist basis teamed up with a well known specialty subcontractor.

Cathedral Hill Hospital | San Francisco, CA

FWCSE is designing the interior and exterior cold-formed steel framing for this hospital. FWCSE also provided structural design for stone and anchorage as well as miscellaneous structural steel components. Designs were completed as part of a design-assist effort with a well know specialty subcontractor. Designs relied heavily on BIM and REVIT. The project is due to be completed in 2019.
