Hotels F&W has an understanding of the unique demands of designing hotel structures. One of our latest projects, the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa, involved the design of a 500-room facility with three ballrooms, exhibit space, retail shops, and a 1,000 car parking garage located beneath the complex. F&W tackled numerous technical challenges in designing this 1,000,000 square foot facility. F&W is also experienced in the rehabilitation and modification of existing hotels to meet the demands of today.        The Irvine Double Tree is "Y" shaped in plan and has shear walls at the ends of the elevator core.   DOUBLE TREE HOTEL | Irvine, California This 250 room, eight story hotel has pre-stressed concrete flat slabs and concrete shear walls. It is built on pile foundations. Included in the project is a pre-cast concrete parking garage to service the hotel.     HYATT REGENCY HUNTINGTON BEACH RESORT & SPA Huntington Beach, California This 500 room, four story luxury hotel has pre-stressed concrete flat slabs over two stories of subterranean parking. Included with the hotel are a steel framed convention center, ballrooms, restaurants, retail shops, and spa. The subterranean parking garage can house 1,000 cars.     SHERATON HARBOR ISLAND San Diego, California Restaurant addition and room remodels, including modifications to existing structure and addition of new structure.         Post tensioned concrete floor and roofs with light gauge steel roof framing were used in this waterfront resort. The Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort and Spa total square footage equaled over 1,000,000.   CORONADO MARRIOTT HOTEL Coronado Island, California Remodel of ballrooms, meeting rooms, and modification to units for ADA access. Buildings are timber and steel framed.     THE ST. REGIS MONARCH BEACH RESORT & SPA Dana Point, California Exterior stud framing system design using light gauge steel and EIFS.     DOUBLE TREE HOTEL | Santa Ana, California Seven story hotel building and adjacent parking structure. The main structure has concrete shear walls and post-tensioned concrete flat slabs.     BEVERLY HILLS HOTEL | Beverly Hills, California Extensive remodel of exterior and interior rooms and common areas.
