Infrastructure Facilities

The staff at F&W has a variety of experience in infrastructure projects with telecommunications, potable water, wastewater, and other utilities and municipalities. Projects involve a range of activities from preparation of construction drawings and specifications, analysis of existing facilities, feasibility studies of proposed facilities, and participation in master plans. Each project is based on the owner's specific and unique needs, with designs tailored to maximize the operational efficiency of the facility.


EL TORO R-6 RESERVOIR \| Mission Viejo, California \| 844 ac-ft (275 MG), 25 acre potable water resevoir. Composite polypropelene liner with HDPE drainage course. Weight-tensioned polypropylene floating cover with gravity drain and pump rainwater removal systems.

The El Toro R-6 Reservoir has a 60-mil composite liner and a 45-mil floating cover with 8 gravity drains.	EAGLE ROCK RESERVOIR \| Los Angeles, CA \| 254 ac-ft (79 MG), 7.2 acre potable water reservoir. Weight-tensioned polypropylene floating cover with pump rainwater removal system. Special design at Inlet and Outlet Towers and Bridge Pier which penetrate floating cover.

	COTTONWOOD HILLS BOOSTER PUMP STATION Lake Elsinore, California \| Single story CMU building for booster pumps, chemical room, and emergency generator.

	WHISPERING LAKES SEWAGE LIFT STATION REHABILITATION \| Ontario, California \| A 540 square foot area, 30 foot deep well. Rehabilitation included increasing number of pumps, re-division of wet wells and dry wells, utilizing reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel, and wood.

DIEMER FILTRATION PLANT MASTER PLAN \| Yorba Linda, California \| Structural support for master plans including structural feasibility of future facilities.

The Eagle Rock Reservoir has a weight tensioned floating cover with unique cable guided folding shrouds at the Inlet and Outlet Towers.	ETIWANDA POWER PLANT \| Maintenance Building \| Etiwanda, California \| Single story, 2,100 square foot CMU maintenance building with office and support spaces.

	SPRINT PCS TELECOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT SUPPORT \| Various California locations \| Over 150 telecommunication equipment sites with support systems, ranging from caissons on undeveloped property to reinforcement of existing office building roofs.

	SEAWATER DESTINATION TEST UNIT \| Huntington Beach, California \| Two story steel framed modular portable structure. Test unit program to produce 1 gpm of desalinated seawater and tested various materials and processes.
